Google Wave was first unveiled at the Google I/O event which showed how email would have looked if invented now.

Google Wave is an online tool for real-time communication and collaboration. A wave can be both a conversation and a document where people can discuss and work together using richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.

Google started sending out invitations yesterday for the limited preview of Google Wave to the first 100,000 signups for Wave, and you can see the excitement on every tech blog and forums that are filled with users asking for Google Wave invites.

How To Get Google Wave Invite?

I’ve been able to come out with various ways by which you can also have an invitation for yourself. These are not just waste of time. People have got invites using them. So do give them a try if you desperately want a Google Wave invite, like the rest of us!

Google Sidewiki – New Google Toolbar Feature allows to Read, Publish & Share your Insights + Video

Now Google Toolbar is equipped with a new feature, Google Sidewiki which is meant to allow users to Read, Publish & Share Insights & related information in the sidebar, next to any webpage. Its really very useful to track how many people visit the same pages and look for the same information & get the information that is added by many others have done while searching the same.

Google Sidewiki, with the major aim to contribute helpful information to webpage visitors, appears as a browser sidebar, where you can also read and write entries along the side of the page & share them.

Google has implemented an algorithm that promotes the most useful, ordered & high-quality entries allows you to see the most relevant entries first.

Google Sidewiki as a feature of Google Toolbar, is now only for Firefox and Internet Explorer but it will be available soon  in Google Chrome and elsewhere too.

One ringtone may capture the intro instrumentals; another may clip the chorus. Best yet, for a limited time, it’s beta version is also Free.

The app won’t charge a thing on Android throughout the beta period, but after that it’ll cost you $1.49 for 3 recipes, $2.49 for unlimited use for a month, or 7.49 for unlimited use for a year.

Google, Now In the Operating System(OS) Battle with Google Chrome Lightweight OS

The Another Big blow from Google (already dominating the search engine market) to other OS giants, this time Google is into the Operating System Battle with its Google Chrome Lightweight OS. Just before nine months Google came up with Google Chrome, which has about 30 million users now.

Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. It code will be open-sourced and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010.

Sundar Pichai, VP Product Management and Linus Upson, Engineering Director said in Official Announcment:

Computers need to get better.

Google Chrome OS will be used with Google Chrome Browser.

We’re designing the OS to be fast and lightweight, to start up and get you onto the web in a few seconds.

Going back to the basics and completely redesigning the underlying security architecture of the OS so that users don’t have to deal with viruses, malware and security updates. It should just work.

Chrome OS is being created for people who spend most of their time on the web

Chrome OS will run on x86-based PCs, as well as machines built around the ARM processor (such as so-called smartbooks).

So what does this mean for Android? According to Google, Chrome OS is in no way connected to Android, and that while Android was created with smartphones, netbooks, and other devices. Android was designed from the beginning to work across a variety of devices from phones to set-top boxes to netbooks.
