Portable Google Chrome 3.0 for Windows Now Available for Download

PortableApps.com started to offer a portable version 3.0 of Google Chrome for Windows. So, now you can take the Chrome browsing experience with you.

The site offers a small application that downloads Google Chrome’s installer(Due to the licensing terms of Google Chrome), extract its files and installs a portable launcher. Then you can Copy the resulting folder to a USB drive and you can launch Chrome on multiple computers without leaving traces. That’s  really good part of this, using same portable version on multiple computers once downloaded & stored in USB devices.

Step1: Download User Agent addon from Firefox addon site.

Step2: After installing restart your brower, goto Tools > Default User Agent > User Agent Switcher > Options.

Step3: In the Options window, select New>New User Agent.

Step4: In the Description: field add “iPhone Win XP” without quotations.

Step5: Add the following text In the User Agent: field

Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/1A543 Safari/419.3

and click OK to close the User Agent Switcher Options window.

Step6: Now switch user agent from default to iPhone via Tools > User Agent Switcher > iPhone Win XP to activate it.

Step7: Just go to the link http://imgs.zinio.com/iphone/ to read 23 popular magazines. Enjoy.

When you click on any magazine you will be asked to enter email address to get latest iPhone updates from Zinio, if you don’t want to give email id, just type any letters that are in email address format like abc@abc.abc to bypass. You have to confirm your age if you want to access PlayBoy and PentHouse magazines.
