Windows Live, which is a suite of Microsoft applications including Messenger, Mail with Calendar sync, Live Writer, Photo Gallery, Family Safety, and the Outlook Connector is now rolling out a new beta in what is called Wave 3. Wave 3 now also includes Windows Movie Maker, which used to be found in Windows Vista.

Wave 3 suite of applications is the newest release of the core Windows Live suite of software and services.

Wave 3 suite of applications from Microsoft comprises:

• Messenger v9
• Windows Live Movie Maker
• Mail with Calendar synchronisation
• Writer
• Photo Gallery
• Family Safety
• Outlook Connector
